The Problem
Drive visibility and boost sales for Bauducco® Bread in a highly competitive retail environment.
With limited budget and low brand awareness, Bauducco® Bread struggled to stand out at the point of sale and drive sales.
The Insight
Idea
If supermarket products use bread imagery to sell themselves, why couldn’t we use those same packs to sell bread?
We turned competitors’ packaging into Bauducco’s media. Using visual recognition technology, shoppers could scan any product featuring bread and instantly unlock a Bauducco® coupon at checkout.
Results
My Role
• Over 78% sales increase
• Strong performance led the client to expand the activation to additional supermarkets
I led the strategic foundation of the project — analyzing consumer behavior, identifying point-of-sale cultural insights, and validating in-store engagement mechanics to ensure a natural shopping experience.
