Challenge

The Problem

Drive visibility and boost sales for Bauducco® Bread in a highly competitive retail environment.

Bread is one of the most essential ingredients in everyday meals — but precisely because of that, it often becomes invisible in consumers’ routines and purchase decisions.

The Insight

Idea

You only realize how important something is when it’s gone.

To prove the importance of bread in the most radical way possible, the campaign removed it entirely from our ads. Hamburgers, hot dogs and sandwiches appeared incomplete, creating visual discomfort that immediately sparked conversation and highlighted bread as the true foundation of these meals.

The simplicity of the idea also created strong creative elasticity, allowing the campaign to react to cultural moments and expand the conversation beyond traditional food communication — including contextual executions inspired by trending topics, such the space travel debate.

Supported the strategic development and cultural expansion of the campaign, helping explore how the core idea could extend into timely conversations and social contexts.
